我是一個禮拜前買的書,今天已經看了大約1/2,並不是因為內容很簡單,(其實內容很豐富,也很有深度),而是因為裡面的對話太爆笑了!我以前買過英文諺語的書,都是那種列一堆成語,(很多還是錯的或過時的),卻沒有告訴我使用的時機,因此背一背就忘了,這本書用很 \’逗趣\’ 的方式將成語套進去,還有詳細的解說,我覺得這才是真正可以學習到東西的書。可以感覺到作者很用心。還有,買書的讀者一定要聽MP3,千萬不要只啃書,因為光聽MP3裡面活潑的內容就值得了!建議買書的人先不要直接看書,而是先聽MP3,像我昨天就把書的MP3灌到我自己的MP3,坐公車時就聽了好幾篇,回家再翻書 \’印證\’一下自己的聽力。大力推薦!

我本來是看聯合報的專欄,覺得很實用,不過昨天去書店翻了一下書,發現很多都加上了台語的諺語,覺得十分有趣,也讓這本書更有意義!黃博士的文筆(中,英文)一向以來都很不錯,常常讓我讀來捧腹大笑,這本書也很不錯,輕鬆易讀,還告訴我正確使用諺語的時機,這樣才不會鬧笑話.

對了,我覺得這本書對高中生寫作文也會很不錯...我高中時也背過很多成語,不過都是囫圇吞棗,不求甚解,這本書可以幫我重溫當年唸書的時光...
